IELTS Essay Bad Sample Exercises - Why You Shouldnt Use Them

IELTS Essay Bad Sample Exercises - Why You Shouldn't Use ThemIn the past, most IELTS students used IELTS essay bad samples as a resource to practice their writing skills and they were willing to accept their mistakes. This attitude can no longer be recommended because there are a lot of cases when students can't understand their essays' mistakes. The reason is simple, they don't know that what they have written is not the real thing.Writing an essay for IELTS isn't a good strategy to practice your English writing skills. It's more like you're testing yourself how well you can write according to the IELTS standards. As we all know, IELTS stands for the International English Language Testing System. It is the standardized assessment tool for English language proficiency and is used by the IELTS organization. And now you know that writing an essay is not a good strategy for improving your English writing skills, but using bad examples as a practice exercise is an excellent option. You don 't need to write the essay from scratch. There are free samples for IELTS essays that you can easily find on the Internet.Just like what I've stated earlier, it is no good practicing your essay without knowing your essay's content. For this reason, I suggest you take a little time to read the sample essay and study how the writer uses the basic sentence structures. Now that you know what the sample essays are all about, there are other reasons why I don't recommend using the bad samples. The main reason is the fact that most of the essays that you will find online are not even published in books or journals. What they are, instead, are examples for English language proficiency exams. So ifyou think that you will improve your writing if you will just copy the samples or try to learn some things from these essays, think again. All you will achieve from the IELTS essay writing practice is more problems and more stress.Remember that this is not the time to invest your energy into getting a master degree in English writing. In fact, it's better to learn from practice. The last thing you want to do is to produce poor quality writing and waste your precious time and money.
